Techie to Thrifty: Navigating Personal Finance in the Cloud

I'm a regular individual in my early-30s, working in the Information Technology (IT) field. Like many others, I started out with dreams of building engines but ended up coding instead.

My journey into the IT world is a classic tale. You see, I began my academic journey with a major in Mechanical Engineering. But as fate would have it, the Indian job market had other plans, and IT seemed like the path of least resistance.

Fast forward a few years, and I'm knee-deep in the tech world. It's a demanding yet rewarding field that has provided me with a comfortable life. Today, I find myself navigating the world of cloud-based technologies like AWS and GCP. Amidst the lines of code and server stacks, I've come to realize that understanding personal finance is just as essential as knowing your way around cloud servers and APIs.

So, why dive into the world of personal finance? Well, it's simple. I want to make my hard-earned money work for me, and I'm guessing you do too. I dream of financial security, owning a home, and having the freedom to enjoy life to the fullest.
